"Therefore, you are directed to appear in person before the undersigned to extend your cooperation for the above purpose on 02-10-2026 time 3.00 PM at the Police Station, National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), Street No. 15, Wafaqi Colony, Canal Road, Lahore... In case of non-appearance,e it will be assumed that you have nothing to present or state in your defense," the one-page notice further reads.
In the first appearance, Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq were both reportedly faced with an interrogation session for more than a couple of hours. Later, it was Rizwan who went to the Lahore High Court, the Pakistan Cricket Board, and even made requests to the International Cricket Council (ICC) in search of a safeguard.
