He recently reunited with his former Dawson’s Creek co-star Katie Holmes in Happy Hours, a romantic drama written and directed by Holmes. The film premiered at the Tribeca Festival on June 6, with Holmes and Jackson appearing together on the red carpet nearly 25 years after Dawson’s Creek.
Jackson is also set to star alongside Ray Romano, Kaley Cuoco, and Rita Wilson in How to Survive Without Me, a new family drama from Greg Berlanti. HBO Max recently ordered the series for 15 episodes.
He’s Also Using His Platform for Cancer Awareness
Outside of acting, Jackson has partnered with AstraZeneca on its Get Body Checked Against Cancer campaign, which encourages people to talk with their doctors about cancer risk and appropriate screenings.
Jackson said people close to him have been diagnosed with cancer and that he is now at an age when he should know his own risks. The campaign is part of the broader Hockey Fights Cancer initiative.
