VICTOR, N.Y. — The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said a Canandaigua woman has been arrested and charged after stealing $2,700 worth of Stanley cups from a Dick’s Sporting Goods in Victor.

Deputies say Kelly A. Ashcraft, 50, was arrested on Wednesday following a shoplifting complaint from Sunday.

The sporting goods store said it noticed a large amount of Stanley brand cups missing. Dick’s asset protection reviewed the CCTV footage, finding the cups being stolen from Aug. 22 to Sept. 30, over a total of 20 times. On Wednesday, she was also found attempting the steal items at the time of her arrest.

Ashcraft was arrested outside the store and charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree. She was taken to the Ontario County Jail and is awaiting arraignment.
