“I do say this with love,” Cage started by saying. “When I see these 50-plus, otherwise intelligent, remarkably gifted thespians putting on these ridiculous outfits and getting ready for the fight — and let’s face it, it’s cutting all to the fight — it’s hard for me not to be reminded that the MCU is becoming a well-funded and glorified WWE.”
While Cage prefaced his comments with appropriate love and support, many fans quickly shot back at the actor for his criticisms, with many citing the fact that Cage previously participated in several superhero vehicles, including 2007’s Ghost Rider and, more recently, Amazon Prime Video’s Spider-Noir.
