The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County hasn’t aired an episode yet, but the Hulu series may have already undergone a major cast shakeup.
In a promotional video posted to social media on Tuesday, Sept. 29, the streaming service revealed that the new series, a spin-off of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, will premiere Nov. 12 on Hulu and Disney+.
The teaser also introduced the cast, which features Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck alongside eight new cast members. However, fans were quick to notice a change from when the cast was initially revealed this spring.
Cast member Chandler Higginson was noticeably absent from the video and appears to have been replaced by Jordan McClanahan. The other cast members include influencers Bobbi Althoff, Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, McCall Dapron, Salomé Andrea, Madison Fisher, and Ashleigh Pease.
After a fan account on Instagram pointed out the apparent cast swap, Chandler’s husband, Dylan Higginson, commented, “There is ALOT to be said, we will share soon.”
Fisher, for her part, showed support for her cast mate, writing, “Chandler is amazing !!!!!❤️❤️.”

Chandler has not publicly addressed the apparent change or confirmed whether she is no longer part of the cast. However, her Instagram bio now reads, “@secretlivesonhulu??? ?.”
According to Hulu, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County will introduce viewers to another community of “MomTok” women based in Orange County, Calif. who have built audiences on social media by sharing their lives online.
When the cast was initially announced in April, Chandler shared a photo of herself at a Hulu-sponsored event and wrote, “Went to bed last night overflowing with gratitude for this new adventure! I am excited to share a look into our life and do it with a group of powerhouse women by my side!! Thank you for taking me on this ride @hulu and @jeffjenkinsproductions ?.”
