Don’t hold your breath for an *NSYNC reunion tour.
Joey Fatone made his feelings pretty clear in a recent interview, saying, “Probably not, flat out.”
Fatone said the topic did come up when he and his former bandmates caught up with one another, but the conversation never got past a gut check. “We just said, ‘Hey, do we see anything happening in a couple of years of *NSYNC?'” he recalled, per OK! magazine. “And that was a no.”
According to Fatone, nobody brought up setlists, tour dates, or anything resembling a real plan. “It was literally the five of us going, ‘How’s everybody doing?'” he said.
Fatone made the comments while promoting his docuseries, Boy Band Confidential, and he didn’t sound convinced that all five members are even on the same page about wanting to perform together again.
“So do I see anything happening in the next two to four years? Probably not. Flat out,” he said. “Finally got an answer.”
That doesn’t mean the door is completely shut. *NSYNC came together in 1995 and went on indefinite hiatus in 2002.

Fatone’s bandmate Justin Timberlake has had a tougher run in the headlines over the past few years. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York, in June 2024, and the arrest quickly went viral online.
Body camera footage captured him telling officers he was “on a world tour” during the stop. A friend at the scene then jokingly tried to win over police by bringing up his hits, asking, “Can you guys please just do me a favor ’cause you loved ‘Bye Bye Bye’ or ‘S***back?’ Do me one favor!”
Timberlake had fought to keep the footage sealed, but lost that legal battle before it was made public.
