ROCHESTER, N.Y. – We’ll be tracking a strong Nor’easter impact coastal Mid-Atlantic and New England this weekend. While the biggest impacts will be well east of us, we will see some clouds and a few showers returning this weekend. Saturday will be dry with a fair amount of sunshine mixed with some high clouds at times. Temperatures will push 70 degrees, with a a noticeable breeze out of the Northeast.
If you have outdoor plans, Saturday is the better weekend day to be outside. The Nor’easter will very slowly lift north and west, and spread out a big on Sunday. This will throw some moisture westward into the Rochester and Finger Lakes regions. Sunday won’t be a washout, but showers will tend to pick up during the afternoon and evening hours, and be most persistent into areas east of Rochester, including the Finger Lakes. The Naples Grape Festival is happening this weekend, so Saturday will be the pick day. If you’re planning on attending Sunday, just pack a rain coat or umbrella.
The Bills are playing at Highmark Stadium on Sunday at 1PM. The morning and early afternoon hours look dry, but a few showers may sneak in toward the 3rd or 4th quarter. Overall it’ll be a mostly cloudy and breezy early fall day for some football in Orchard Park.
Temperatures will begin to warm a bit heading into the middle of next week, with temperatures back into the 70s for a few days. But, we’ll also start to see an increasing chance for some rain by later Wednesday and Thursday.
