ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Students at the Rochester Institute of Technology hoping to land a job after graduation had the opportunity to meet professionals in their desired field and even interview on the spot at Wednesday’s campus-wide job fair.
Representatives from more than 200 employers were at the fair at the Gordon Field House taking students’ resumes and conducting interviews for open positions.
Students at RIT presented resumes for Co-op’s, internships, and full-time jobs.
News10NBC stopped by and spoke to organizers, who say the turnout was better than past events, and they were very excited about the turnout.
“When we opened the fair in July, it was very slow with the number of employers that were registering,” said Maria Richart, director of career services and cooperative education at RIT.
