AVON, N.Y. (WHEC) – Livonia and Avon boy’s soccer both took perfect 6-0 records onto the pitch on Monday night. The River Hawks were the only ones to leave perfect, following a 2-0 win on home soil.
Avon’s George McGrain connected on the opening goal about midway through the first half and the River Hawks didn’t look back, capturing a 2-0 win over one of the top programs in Section V.
On the girl’s side, Holley dropped its third game in seven tries after winning the Class C1 Sectionals championship in 2025. They fell to Bloomfield, 2-0, as the Bombers improve to 7-2 on the year.
Sawyer Didas and Sydney Falsone notched the goals for Bloomfield.
