ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Drier weather is starting to push in this evening bringing some blue skies before the sun sets especially for folks closer to the lake. Overnight, we will see a partly cloudy sky and we once again can’t rule out the risk for a quick stray shower. Low temperatures will dip down to the upper 40s in the valleys south of the thruway while we will stay in the low 50s closer to the lake.
Turning to Monday, we are in for a cool start to the workweek with high temperatures running below average by about 12°. Expect high temperatures near 60° with plenty of clouds. Fall arrives on Tuesday and it will definitely feel like it. We will start with some nice sunshine, But, clouds will increase through the afternoon as high temperatures climb into the low 60s. Wednesday will be pleasant with a mix of sun and clouds with high temperatures in the mid 60s.
Overall, the extended forecast features plenty of sunshine and gradually warming temperatures through the end of the week into next weekend.
