A 42-year-old man has died and a teen was injured after a shooting in the South Shore neighborhood Saturday night.
According to Chicago police, two individuals were standing outside in the 1900 block of East 71st Place at approximately 10:38 p.m. when a suspect pulled out a weapon and opened fire.
Police say a 42-year-old was shot in the left hip, and he was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A 15-year-old was also shot in the arm, and he was taken to an area hospital in good condition, according to police.
