ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say a false 911 call for a shooting led officers to swarm part of Baycliff Drive on the city’s northeast side on Wednesday night.
Police responded around 11:30 p.m. after getting the call. They surrounded a home on Baycliff Drive, ordering people to come outside, but soon determined that the call was false.
Police are trying to identify the caller and are asking anyone with information to contact 911.
