Harris was a big get for the Sooners out of the transfer portal from Virginia. He was expected to play a complementary role to Isaiah Sategna III, OU’s leading receiver in 2025 (67 catches, 965 yards, 8 touchdowns).
Last year, Harris played in all 13 games for the Cavaliers, starting the last 12. He recorded 59 catches for 847 yards and 5 TDs as a redshirt junior.
Through OU’s first 2 games, tight end Rocky Beers is the leading pass-catcher with 8 receptions for 137 yards and 1 touchdown. Harris is currently second, ahead of Sategna, with 6 catches for 104 yards and 1 score. Sategna has 6 catches for 85 yards and a TD.
After the loss at Michigan, No. 24 Oklahoma is looking to bounce back against New Mexico. The Week 3 matchup is OU’s last nonconference contest of the 2026 regular season.
