Chicago police say three people were shot in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood Saturday, with a woman suffering severe injuries.
According to authorities, two men were riding in a light-colored sedan in the 7100 block of South Campbell at approximately 9 p.m. when they opened fire at a group of people standing nearby.
A 37-year-old woman was struck by gunfire, suffering wounds to her head, right hand and left wrist, police said.
She was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.
A 15-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to the neck and a graze wound to his chest, and was listed in good condition. A 17-year-old girl was shot in the right knee, and is in good condition, police said.
The suspects fled southbound on Maplewood, and no one is in custody, according to Chicago police.
