IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — The St. Ann’s Community invited people to come together for the third annual St. Ann’s Community Walk around the St. Ann’s Irondequoit Campus on Portland Avenue.
This year’s theme was “Aging Impacts Every Family.” The walk was two miles long and began at 10 a.m.
“We’re going to raise about $121,000 doing this event for our community here at St. Ann’s,” said Michael McRae, president and CEO of St. Ann’s Community. He added that the event this year raised 21 percent more this year compared to last year.
Funds raised through this year’s walk will support mind and memory wellness resources across St. Ann’s Community, including education and support for residents, families, and staff.
Over 250 people took part in the raising the funds.
