ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Tom Golisano’s foundation announced another major investment in children’s hospitals across the country.
The Golisano Children’s Alliance committed another $225 million toward six children’s hospitals. The money will go to facilities in Minneapolis, New Hampshire, Wesley Chapel, Reno, Colorado Springs and Vanderbilt.
This brings the number of hospitals in the network to 21. The organization says the goal is 40.
About the Children’s Alliance
There are now 21 hospitals across the U.S. in the Golisano Children’s Alliance, including the one in Rochester. To date, Golisano has donated more than a billion dollars.
Golisano first established the alliance last October. Six hospitals across the U.S. became alliance partners, with $253 million total going to the hospitals.

Golisano says the goal of the alliance is to strengthen collaboration and pediatric care to make sure all children and families have access to the highest quality medical care close to home.
