Assignments to start corrals vary from High Performance to Corrals A through N. These are assigned based on each start corral’s qualifying standards.
Starting Aug. 20, participants were able to view their final corral assignment in their participant account.
Sorted into three waves, Wave 1 and Wave 2 corrals are assigned based on participants’ accepted qualifying time, while Wave 3 corrals are assigned based on a runner’s expected finishing time.
How to request a corral change
The deadline to submit a start corral change request was set for Aug. 11.
For those who did file a change request in time, proof of qualifying time is required to show a runner meets the standards of the corral change they are requesting. Qualifying standards can be viewed here.
What else to know
Runners are recommended to get to their start corrals 20 minutes before they close on the day of the race, taking place on Oct. 11.
Wave 1 corrals close at 7:20 a.m. CT on race day, while Wave 2 close at 7:45 a.m. CT. The final wave corrals, Wave 3, close at 8:10 a.m. CT.
