In a new series of photos shared by his daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger, the legendary action star celebrated the big event snuggled up next to Shriver and three of the former couple’s kids. With a large slice of red velvet cake in front of him, Schwarzenegger looks so happy next to Shriver. It’s great to see the duo, who split in 2011 and officially divorced in 2021, come together alongside their children.

Celebrating Schwarzenegger’s Birthday
Schwarzenegger made it clear that he wasn’t looking for any big gifts for his 79th birthday. Instead, the star asked followers to download his fitness app. Sporting a pair of sunglasses, Schwarzenegger showed off his bulging biceps as he lifted weights outdoors.
“I turn 79 today. I don’t want any gifts. Instead, my team and I are turning the fitness industry upside down,” Schwarzenegger wrote.

Schwarzenegger noted that he hopes America can turn things around by harnessing its “people power.”
“The people can turn this around. The people have the ultimate power. People always say, ‘Well, what can I do? I’m just an individual,’ but each and every one of you in here can make a difference. You can show leadership,” he said, encouraging students from different parties to communicate and solve problems together. “How you don’t see the other side as the enemy, or to fight fire with fire, like they’re saying today, or to declare war on each other, as they’re saying today. You can show leadership, and you can get together and be this example. Because remember, the people’s power is the ultimate power. That’s what democracy is all about.”
