“Just Like a Woman” has long been a source of debate, with some listeners criticizing the song’s lyrics as sexist — but that hasn’t stopped the song from being regarded as some of Dylan’s best work, with Rolling Stone ranking it as the No. 4 greatest song from his entire catalog.
As for Simon’s rendition, she puts her distinctive vocals at the forefront, giving Dylan’s lyrics a more intimate feel — but she is hardly the first artist to put her spin on the song.
