At 247 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking widely scattered strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles west of Lockwood Valley to 9 miles southeast of Mount Pinos. These storms were nearly stationary, and may develop eastward into extreme northwest Los Angeles County after 3PM PDT.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include… Mount Pinos… Lockwood Valley… Alamo Mountain… Interstate 5 over the Grapevine… Gorman… Frazier Mountain… Pyramid Lake… and Highway 33 from Lockwood Valley Road to the Santa Barbara County line. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
