Right-hander Corbin Burnes has been reinstated from the 60-day IL, the Diamondbacks announced. He’s expected to start tonight against the Royals. Burnes hasn’t pitched in the majors since June 2025.
Arizona also recalled right-hander Kade Strowd. Righties Gerardo Carrillo and Jose Cabrera were sent back to Triple-A. The club had one opening on the 40-man roster. With Burnes back, the Diamondbacks’ 40-man is now full.
