ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 28-year-old man is facing charges after Rochester Police say he stabbed someone on the city’s northwest side.
Joey Clinton-Rosario is charged with second-degree assault. Police say it started at around 10:40 a.m. Tuesday when they responded to a report of someone stabbed on Locust Street.
When police got there, they say they found two men fighting in the street, one whom had a puncture wound to the torso. Police say they learned that the two were known to each other and during the fight, Clinton-Rosario stabbed the victim.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was brought to Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive. Clinton-Rosario was taken into custody and brought to the Monroe County Jail.
