RIYADH — The Sultanate of Oman has signed its Participation Contract with Expo 2030 Riyadh, formally confirming its presence at the World Expo, set to be hosted from 1 October 2030 to 31 March 2031. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture and Commissioner General of Oman Pavilion Sayyid Saeed Sultan Al Busaidi and Chief Executive Officer of Expo 2030 Riyadh Talal Al-Marri signed the Participation Contract at the Expo 2030 Riyadh site. The agreement paves the way for the next phase of Oman’s preparations for Expo 2030 Riyadh, supporting the development of its pavilion and shaping its broader participation and engagement throughout the event. With participation agreements being signed more than four years ahead of the Expo’s opening, Expo 2030 Riyadh is setting an unprecedented pace in the history of World Expos for the early formalization of participation.International participation is central to Expo 2030 Riyadh’s ambition to serve as a platform for action. Under the theme “Foresight for Tomorrow,” the World Expo will bring nations and organizations together to explore shared challenges and opportunities ahead, exchange knowledge and perspectives, and forge new partnerships.
