ROCHESTER, N.Y. — An 18 year old is recovering after he was stabbed at the corner of Norton Street and Seneca Avenue on the city’s northeast side on Thursday in the daylight.
Rochester Police say they responded to the Valero gas station in that area just before 8 a.m. and found the teen stabbed at least once in the torso. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Investigators believe that the victim and the suspect knew each other. Officers say they recovered a handgun at the scene. RPD is still investigating and is asking anyone with information to call 911.
