STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. — The Steuben County Public Health Department (SCPH) said it has reported two more measles cases among unvaccinated people in the county. This brings the total number of Steuben County measles cases to eight as of Wednesday.
The department says both people are contacts of previously reported cases and that the department was notified as of Wednesday. One person showed symptoms on Aug. 24, and the other on Aug. 28, SCPH said.
Both people are no longer contagious after isolating, the department added, and that no additional details will be released.
