Hodo Recalls Over 10,000 Cases of Chili Crisp Lightly Fried Tofu

First initiated on Aug. 7, 2026, the recall names 10,084 cases of Hodo Chili Crisp Lightly Fried Tofu as potentially at risk, as the products may be contaminated with ink. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the at-risk packages were distributed to 29 states nationwide and feature best-by dates ranging from May through November of 2026.

At the moment, no illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported in relation to the recall. However, Hodo tofu now joins the ranks of iceberg lettuce, alfalfa sprouts, eggs, jalapeños, frozen blueberries and more being removed from shelves due to possible safety issues this summer alone.

As of now, the FDA notice does not reveal which stores have the recalled Hodo tofu in stock, but we do know which states packages were distributed to:
