Set deep in the dense mountains of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone follows Ern Cunningham, played by Badgley, a mystery-writing expert who reluctantly attends a family reunion to welcome his brother Michael home from prison – the same brother Ern helped convict.
Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone is an adaption of the 2022 book of the same name by Benjamin Stevenson. A limited series was previously in development with HBO but ultimately did not makes screens.
The new adaption by Amazon MGM studios will be executively produced by Academy Award nominee David Hemingson, who previously worked on The Holdovers.
