The figures reflect the continued dominance of messaging and short-form video applications among users in the Kingdom, alongside clear differences in platform preferences between males and females. In the same context, the report stated that 61.3 percent of internet users in the Kingdom spend seven hours or more online each day, reflecting growing reliance on digital services across various aspects of life. Meanwhile, 34.1 percent of users spend between three and six hours online daily, while 4.6 percent spend less than three hours. The report indicated that the period between 9 and 11 pm represents the peak time for daily internet usage in the Kingdom, with Friday emerging as the most active day of the week and March recording the highest usage throughout the year.The report also noted that internet usage while on the go ranked first at 84 percent, followed by usage at home at 77.5 percent and at workplaces at 41.4 percent.Furthermore, the report showed that mobile phones remain the primary means of accessing the internet, with usage reaching 99.6 percent, followed by computers at 47.4 percent and tablets at 39.2 percent. Usage of other devices such as smartwatches and gaming consoles, reached 30.7 percent.According to the report, Wikipedia was the most visited website in the Kingdom, followed by YouTube, Instagram, the Ministry of Education, WhatsApp, Absher, and ChatGPT. The most searched terms on the internet in the Kingdom were “translator,” followed by Absher, Noor, translation, YouTube, Google, Madrasati, and the Saudi riyal.
