According to the Illinois Lottery, the Lucky Day Lotto ticket, which matched all five numbers in Monday, Aug. 24 evening drawing, was sold at a 7-Eleven at 1601 W. Nerge Rd. in Elk Grove Village. The winning numbers for that drawing were 4-24-28-31-42.
As of Tuesday, the ticket has yet to be claimed.
Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize, the Illinois Lottery said. Winners are encouraged to write their name on the back of their ticket and “keep it in a safe place” until they’re ready to come forward.
As part of the win, the 7-Eleven will receive an $8,000 selling bonus — one percent of the total prize amount — the Illinois Lottery said.
Lucky Day Lotto has daily drawings, at 12:40 p.m. and 9:22 p.m. Jackpots start at $100,000.
