MONROE COUNTY, N.Y. — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has agreed to publish jail trust fund spending online.
Monroe County Legislator Rachel Barnhart announced the new transparency measure. The funds include revenue from jail commissary sales and telephone and tablet services.
“Nearly eight-million-dollars has been spent by the fund since 2020,” Barnhart said.
