Judy Sherion Adams (age: 74), was born June 28th, 1952 in Nashville, TN. She resided in Hartsville, TN when she traveled home in the loving arms of her Heavenly father, with family holding her hand on the August 24th, 2026. A visitation for Judy will be held at Saturday August 29th, from 12pm to 5pm and August 30th, from 12pm to 2pm at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon, TN. Celebration of Life will occur August 30th at 2pm at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Burial and Graveside Service will follow at Hartley Cemetery 6017 Cross Keys Road, College Grove, TN.
Pallbearers (Grandsons and son-in-law at Judy’s Request): David Adams Jr. “Bubby”, Brandon Adams, Christopher Lanier, Brandon Flemming, Christopher Gulley, Robbie Welch, and Jackson Beard. All remaining grandchildren and great grandchildren to follow.
Judy confessed her faith in Jesus and was baptized in September of 2018 at home. She is the daughter of the late Sara Lou (Beard) Lepley and Arthur Lee Lepley of Nashville, TN. Wife of the late Gilbert Wayne Adams, married in 1969. They had 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Judy worked at Pam’s Truck Stop and Uncle Pete’s as a cook, until she retired to stay at home and enjoy her husband, kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
Some of her favorite things were roses, the color blue, coffee, chocolate pie, red lipstick and nail polish, and soft curls in her hair. Judy collected pictures and porcelain dolls. She always enjoyed playing bingo and cards as well as taking trips and going to the casinos. She loved to cook cakes and pies, loved all kinds flowers and her animals, but most of all she loved her family.
Preceded in death by her husband: Gilbert Wayne Adams; parents: Sara Lou (Beard) Lepley and Arthur Lee Lepley; grandparents: Era Allie (Hartley) Beard “Nannie” and William Jackson Beard “Daddy Bill”, Elsie Lepley and J.W. Lepley; brother: Donald Wayne Beard; sisters: Hazel Diane Lepley, Era Mae (Lepley) Pruitt, Shirley Faye (Lepley) Carson; nieces: Misty Diane Lepley, Patricia Lynn (Jenkins) Brewington and Tonya Renee Lepley; nephew: Clarence Jenkins Jr. “CJ”; mother and father-in-law: Annabel (McBroom) Adams and Lee Gilbert Adams; brothers-in-law: Glenn Pruitt, Jerry Rhodes and Clarence Jenkins Sr.; son-in-law: Michael Lanier.
Survived by 3 children: David Wayne Adams (Cindy) of Carthage, TN, James Lee Adams (Laurie) of Hartsville, TN, and Sarah Ann (Adams-Lanier) Gulley (Christopher) of Hartsville, TN; grandchildren: Theresa (Adams) Dudley (James), David Wayne Adams Jr. “Bubby” (Samantha), Kayla Marie (Lanier) Welch (Robbie), Brandon Thomas Adams, Christopher Jackson Lanier, Cody Lee Adam, and Brandon Thomas Flemming; great-grandchildren: Jaxon, Easton, Haven, Landon, Kaiden, Riley, Kymber, Emitt, Ember, Kynleigh, Allie, and Raegen. brothers: William Eugene Beard (Enn) of Nashville, TN and Arthur Ray Lepley of Nunnelly, TN; sister: Patricia Ann Jenkin’s of Centerville, TN and Vickie Rhodes (Steve Birchfield) of Florence, AL; sister-in-law: Barbara Beard of Nashville, TN; and other family and friends.

She enriched lives with every breath and left her loved ones a lot of memories to treasure.
