VICTOR, N.Y. — The Town of Victor will buy five store parcels at Eastview Mall.
The Town Board voted on the purchase Monday night. The goal is to transfer the title to a local LLC to “facilitate the long-term economic viability of the mall.”
There’s word yet on what stores will fill those parcels.
The town also tried to buy the old Lord & Taylor late last year with the intent to turn it into a community center. That project was shut down after a lawsuit. The Lord & Taylor site has since been purchased by Bass Pro Shops. That store is set to open later this year.
