ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – The Buffalo Bills will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night for their final preseason game.

On Saturday, Bills rookie offensive lineman Jude Bowry suffered a lower leg injury, leaving the game for the medical tent and not returning. He also showed up to practice on Monday in a boot on his left leg. The Bills have not offered specifics on the injury as of Monday’s practice.
Thursday will be the final preseason game before the Bills open the season on the road against the Houston Texans on Sept. 13. It will also be one of the last opportunities players on the bubble will have to make an impression before the Bills have to solidify their 53-man roster by 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30.

Geno Stone is competing for a spot at safety on the roster. Stone started all 17 games for the Cincinnati Bengals the past two seasons finishing 2025 with 65 tackles, two interceptions and two sacks. As it stands, he’s fighting for a spot against Damar Hamlin if Buffalo only keeps one of them.
