ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to receipt of child pornography.
Rashad Rabah, 33, faces a minimum penalty of five years in prison, a maximum penalty of 20 years and a $250,000 fine.
Federal prosecutors say Rabah tried to pickup a package shipped from Arizona that had fentanyl at the Jefferson Road Processing Distribution Center in Henrietta.
USPIS received the package and staged a delivery to Rabah in August 2025. Investigators say a search warrant was executed, and they took Rabah’s cell phone during the search, on which evidence of child exploitation content was found.
The FBI executed multiple additional search warrants on Rabah’s online accounts and home, to which prosecutors say that he had engaged in sexual text conversations and other online activities with a minor between April 2022 to August 2025.
Prosecutors say that Rabah was involved in a social media platform dedicated to the abuse and exploitation of minors.
Rabah’s sentencing will be scheduled at a future date.
