At around 10:15 a.m., fire crews reported to the area near 47th Street and South DuSable Lake Shore Drive for a woman in the water. A woman was pulled from the lake by the Chicago Fire Department’s Marine Unit and taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
An autopsy was set to take place to determine the cause of death.
