ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say a 33-year-old man was shot on Harris Street near Avenue D Saturday night.
It took place just before midnight Saturday. Police say they responded to Avenue D for a report of a person shot, and found the man with at least one gunshot wound. He was brought to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Investigators say the man was shot by an unknown suspect on Harris Street. They say the victim then made his way over to Avenue D, where police found him.
No suspects are in custody, and the investigation remains open. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
