ROCHESTER, N.Y. — After a busy summer season full of camps and other activities, all R-Centers will be closed for the next two weeks for staff training.
The city’s R-Centers will be closed through Saturday, Sept. 5, for training, and on Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day. During that time, staff will prepare for the fall recreation season. You can see a list of future activities at R-Centers here.
The city says that, during the closures, people can still stay active by going to the Maplewood Nature Center, Rochester Community Sports Complex, and Genesee Valley Sports Complex. In addition, people can cool off by swimming at Durand Eastman Beach.
