2026 Southeast Zone Masters Championships
Saturday, August 15 — Sunday, August 16, 2026 Cary, North Carolina — Triangle Aquatic Center LCM (50 Meters) Full Meet Results Available on Meet Mobile: “2026 Southeast Zone LCM Championship”The 2026 Southeast Zone Masters Championships raced last weekend, and a group of four Raleigh Area Masters swimmers broke three Masters relay world records, taking down the 4×100 free, 4×50 medley, and 4×100 medley records.
The quartet of Kylee Alons (27), Kimberly Ruiz (35), Karen Stump (48), and Erika Braun (54) competed in the 160-199 age group with an aggregate age of 164.
They started the meet with a new record in the 400 free relay. They stopped the clock in 4:05.73 to take more than a second off the 2015 record time of 4:06.90, set by North Carolina Masters.
Braun was on the 2015 record as well, swimming the leadoff leg at age 43. She split 1:01.25 on that relay, a little more than two seconds faster than the 1:03.76 she swam last weekend.

On Sunday, they followed up their 400 free relay record performance with two more masters world records.
First, they took down the 200 medley relay record, swimming 1:58.58 to cut more than four seconds off the North Carolina Masters record of 2:02.92 set in August of 2023.
Braun and Stump were both on that relay with Braun swimming breaststroke and Stump swimming fly.
