In 1975, she made her film debut in Otto Preminger’s Rosebud, which led to a contract with Universal Pictures that proved fruitful the following decade.

The literary-themed event celebrated Morrison’s songwriting and his 2014 lyrics collection, Lit Up Inside.
Cattrall’s performance was later described as “spellbinding” and hailed as a “literary delight.”
A massive fan of the Grammy-winning musician, Cattrall later took to social media to share her excitement about the collaboration. Posting a photo with the singer, she shared that meeting her hero “exceeded” her expectations and called him “the one and only.”
Today, Cattrall is prioritizing a career of selective and stress-free projects while enjoying newly married life with Russell Thomas, whom she met in 2016 during an appearance on BBC’s Woman’s Hour.
“Kim has taken over, and not the characters she’s played, in a very definite way,” she told People last December. “The last 10 years have been more about exploring me, not connected to my work, but my own choices.”
