ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Expect lots of clouds for the morning, eventually clearing from west to east later this afternoon leading to plenty of sun for the evening. Temperatures will peak in the mid 70s and humidity will be low. A few showers are possible in the Southern Tier this afternoon.
Clear skies overnight will lead to temperatures as cool as the upper 40s down south to the mid 50s near the lakeshore. Mostly sunny skies for all of Friday with comfortable temperatures and humidity will make for a fantastic day to get outside, and it’s highly recommended you do so as this weekend’s weather will be turning unsettles.
Saturday morning will still be sunny, but scattered showers and storms are expected to develop in the afternoon as low pressure approaches from the northwest. Chances for showers and storms continue overnight, then Sunday wet weather continues though storm activity should be weaker. Some isolated showers are possible Monday before a return to dry weather on Tuesday.
