Peak heating for most appears Wednesday. Triple digits are expected inland while beaches rise to 80s. Sundowners are in the forecast and increased fire risk is a concern. Skies remain mostly clear with a few pockets of fog in the morning.
The heat holds through Thursday with minimal day to day differences. We begin a small cooling trend Friday into the weekend with more marine layer influence. Many areas will still feel like summer. Enjoy the beaches this weekend!
