ROCHESTER, N.Y. — As the war in Iran continues, here’s a look at the latest gas prices as we start the work week.
Rochester’s average is at $4.21. That’s up six cents from last Monday. The national average is at $4.06, up five cents from last Monday.
President Donald Trump spoke about the gas prices on Friday, saying, “So I just say this, so, for you to pay a tiny little bit more for your gasoline, just remember you’re doing it so that a very evil country cannot — a country that’s really the number one state sponsor of terror in the world, we don’t want them to have a nuclear weapon. So remember that when you have to pay a little bit more, your four dollars, it’s okay. I mean, it’s, I’ll never apologize. I did the right thing.”
He continued, saying, “You just have to remember that what we’re doing is a great service to the world, not only for ourselves, for the world.”
