Over the weekend, Marvel announced the cast for the upcoming X-Men film, set to release in theaters on May 5, 2028. The lineup includes Sadie Sink (Stranger Things), who starred in Spider-Man: Brand New Day as Jean Grey, along with top actors and newcomers like Samara Weaving (Ready or Not 2: Here I Come), Adam Driver (Star Wars sequel), Kit Connor (Heartstopper), Maya Boyd (rising Broadway star) and Christopher Abbott (Wolf Man). It was announced that the Obsession actress will be starring in the film earlier today at Disney’s D23 event in Anaheim, California. And Fans couldn’t be happier. Just two weeks ago, the actress was rumored to play Mystique in the film, stating that she “wants to play Mystique” after meeting with X-Men director Jake Schreier.
