The actor, 45, who is best known for his role as Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, hit the red carpet at the Disney Entertainment Showcase at “D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event” this week in Anaheim, Calif. The star is returning as Anakin Skywalker, the iconic role he played in the Star Wars prequels and the TV series Obi-Wan Kenobi, in Star Wars: Ahsoka. While Christensen looked extremely handsome on the red carpet during the appearance, a new video making the rounds on social media proved to be like catnip for Internet trolls who wanted to throw out mean comments about aging.

In a sweet interview with MTV UK, Christensen opened up about the TV shows he loves to watch with his young daughter, Briar Rose, whom he shares with ex Rachel Bilson. But the touching point of the video was overlooked by critics, who came with cruel comments about how Christensen looks.
