On Friday (Aug. 14), Billboard can exclusively reveal that Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B will headline BZR WKND Jamaica 2026 in Kingston on Oct. 18, marking her first-ever stadium-headlining concert in the Caribbean. Billed “Cardi B & Friends,” her highly anticipated set will be the marquee event of BZR WKND’s four-day celebration of music, culture, food, tourism, fashion and entertainment (Oct. 16-19). Early bird tickets will go on sale Friday, Aug. 21.
Cardi’s Caribbean stadium-headlining debut follows this year’s wildly successful Little Miss Drama Tour, which grossed more than $70 million and sold 453,000 tickets across Feb. 11 and April 18, according to Billboard Boxscore. The “Pretty & Petty” rapper launched her North American trek — her first proper string of live shows in a whopping seven years — in support of her 2025 Am I the Drama? LP, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 and spawned Billboard Hot 100 top 40 hits like “Outside” (No. 10), the Kehlani-assisted “Ring” (No. 28) and “Magnet” (No. 37).
Notably, Bardi’s sophomore album also houses the Hot 100 No. 1 singles “Up” and “WAP” (with Megan Thee Stallion), the latter of which recently earned a Diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in recognition of the sex-positive anthem shifting over 10 million units.
“Following the incredible success of our inaugural event, we knew BZR WKND had to return even bigger,” said Ryan Burke and Grammy-winning reggae musician Roy “Gramps” Morgan, organizers of BZR WKND Jamaica. “Cardi B is one of the biggest artists in the world, and her first-ever headlining stadium concert in the Caribbean represents a defining moment not only for BZR WKND, but for Jamaica’s live entertainment industry. We’re proud to welcome fans from around the world for what promises to be an unforgettable weekend.”
Featuring “Chris Brown & Friends,” BZR WKND sold out its debut at Kingston’s National Stadium in 2023, quickly establishing the festival as one of the buzziest live music events in the Caribbean. Dancehall stars Spice, Masicka and SQUASH anchored the fest’s 2024 staging. Though it was ultimately canceled due to inclement weather, BZR WKND 2025 was set to feature a lineup led by Sexyy Red, Shenseea and Dexta Daps. For 2026, BZR WKND will feature a welcome party on Oct. 16, followed by the Tidal Rave Beach Party: WYFL Edition on Oct. 17 and Cardi’s headlining set on Oct. 18. The BZR WKND Farewell Celebration will close out the festival on Monday, Oct. 19.
Cardi’s concert news also comes on the heels of her instant-classic Old Navy jeans ad and her new single “AH HA,” which debuted at No. 25 on the Aug. 15-dated Hot 100.
Additional performers, ticket information, travel packages and festival experiences will be announced in the coming weeks.
