ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man who shot his ex-girlfriend in Rochester last year is set to be sentenced on Friday morning.
Robert Johnson, previously convicted for aggravated criminal contempt, pleaded guilty to shooting his ex-girlfriend on Willow Street in Rochester last May. She survived.

Prosecutors say Johnson will get between 17 and 19 years in prison and another five years parole.
Days after the shooting, Johnson turned himself in to police. Officers told News10NBC they found that Robert Johnson entered a home on Willow Street armed with a gun, stole property from the victim and shot her multiple times.
