LIVINGSTON COUNTY, N.Y. — A woman from Endicott is facing charges after Livingston County Sheriff’s deputies say she used counterfeit bills to make purchases at two different businesses.
Teandra George, 28, is charged with three counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, three counts of scheme to defraud, three counts of conspiracy, and three counts of petit larceny.
Deputies say in October 2025, two separate businesses in the Towns of Springwater and Nunda contacted them in regards to possible fraud.
Investigators say George used a counterfeit $100 bill to buy various items at both places. She was arrested and charged Tuesday.
George was brought to the Livingston County Jail for processing and released on her own recognizance. According to deputies, her charges don’t qualify for bail under the NYS Bail Reform Act.
The investigation is ongoing and deputies say more suspects are being sought.
