CARPINTERIA, Calif. (KEYT) — A community art installation is growing throughout the summer as people add their hopes for the future.
Artist Allison Gobbell created “Trees of Hope” to celebrate the Carpinteria Arts Center’s 25th anniversary.
Visitors are invited to write down their hopes and add them to trees in the center’s courtyard.
The installation continues to change as more people participate, turning individual hopes into a shared community creation.
“Trees of Hope” will continue growing throughout the summer as the Arts Center celebrates 25 years in Carpinteria.
