Tiffany Haddish has avoided a trial in a Georgia DUI case.
According to Fox 5, Haddish, 46, appeared in court virtually on Tuesday, August 5, where she entered a guilty plea to DUI driving less safe stemming from a January 2022 incident.
As part of the plea agreement, Haddish will avoid a trial that was scheduled to begin in Fayette County.
Under the terms of the agreement, all remaining traffic charges against the comedian were dismissed. No additional jail time was imposed after the court credited her for time served following her initial arrest.

Haddish’s lawyers asked a judge in May to dismiss the case, claiming that the delay in resolution had caused personal and professional difficulties and violated her right to a speedy trial. A judge, however, rejected the argument.
The judge claimed that Haddish and her attorneys had requested some of the delays, including a request for a delay so she could attend a fashion show in Morocco.
Haddish was arrested on suspicion of DUI a second time in November 2023, though she later reached a plea deal. The comedian was sentenced to probation after pleading no contest to a reckless driving charge.

The crooks of my ankles ain’t on fire, you know, there’s no inflammation. I want to be in a good place. I want to see me in a good place, too.”
