The late Paul Walker’s estate has responded to viral speculation that his daughter, Meadow Walker, had put his Fast and the Furious car up for sale.

“We would like to set the record straight regarding the false reports online. @MeadowWalker did NOT sell nor auction Paul’s 1998 Toyota Supra from Furious 7,” an Instagram statement shared via Paul’s account Thursday, August 7, read. “The car is currently on display at the @PetersenMuseum as part of A Fast & Furious Legacy exhibit running now through April 2027.”

Paul’s team further stated that the vehicle “remains under Meadow’s ownership” and is “part of her collection.”

Meadow, 27, shared the same statement to her Instagram Stories, stressing that she has not sold or auctioned off the car.

Paul died in November 2013 after a single car-collision at the age of 40. The actor, who was in the middle of filming Furious 7 at the time, is survived by his father, his two brothers, his two sisters and Meadow.

In the years since Paul’s death, his family has remained committed to honoring his legacy.

“Tyrese [Gibson] and I, and through FuelFest and through everything we’ve done here, we’ve been able to raise about a half a million dollars to date, so we’re very, very proud of that,” Paul’s brother Cody Walker exclusively told Us in 2024 of their car show to raise funds for Paul’s ReachOut WorldWide (ROWW) nonprofit. “Obviously, that’s a piece of Paul that he left behind that we see as part of his legacy, so it’s an honor to be able to have so much fun and doing something that he would himself enjoy and something that helps to keep that dream alive.”

Gibson, 47, starred in the Fast and the Furious franchise with Paul.

“I miss him. It’s really hard to not think about Paul,” the actor recalled to Us during FuelFest 2024, going on to praise ROWW’s efforts. “Whatever the natural disaster is, they go there and they help out. So this is what Paul was doing [in] his private time when he wasn’t on a movie set.”

Gibson concluded, “It has been an honor to keep that specific passion of Paul’s alive on behalf of our brothers. We are doing events, but we do things with a heart and we do things just really thinking about the impact and the inspiration that we’re creating.”
